Pricing

My prices are derived from my experience, education & skill in the home inspection industry. My prices are comparable to my competitors with similar qualifications. I intentionally separate myself from less skilled & “minimum standards” inspectors. If you are shopping for prices keep in mind you get what you pay for in a home inspector. Not all home inspectors are the same, just as not all doctors or are the same. Experience is worth the extra money! You would spend more money to have the best doctor to protect your health or life. Why then would you spend less on a home inspector & jeopardize your investment that could cost you $1,000’s after you move in.

The average replacement cost of a water heater by a contractor is $750, a/c system average cost is $4,000, and so on! The home inspection is not where you should try to save money. The information I will provide to you is the most critical in your buying decision. I want to give you a peace of mind prior to your purchase. To do so I must spend the adequate amount of time needed in the house identifying defects latent or existing. I do not short cut my home inspections & will not leave the house until my job is done. I will help you to understand the report & my findings as long as it takes. This is your time & money & I value you as my client.

There are two types of home inspectors: the Minimum Standards home inspector & the experienced ASHI home inspector. The Minimum Standards inspector does not have the experience, training or knowledge that means undetected items on your home inspection report. An experienced ASHI inspector is more detailed & is not concerned about squeezing the time to get to the next appointment. I never schedule more than two inspections in one day. My average time for home inspection with report writing is 4-6 hours.
