Bob graduated from Texas A&M University in 1985 with a degree in Building Construction. He worked in the construction industry prior to joining his father, Von Smith, P.E. (one of the first licensed inspectors in Texas) in 1993. In 1998 Bob started Smith Inspection Services, Inc. He has performed over 4000 inspections during his career, since becoming a licensed inspector in the Central Texas area. His knowledge, eye for detail and personal skills have made him one of Central Texas’ best home inspectors. Bob has also been sought after to teach new agents & continuing education classes to Realtors to inform them of current changes in the home inspection industry. Bob and his wife, Sherry, work diligently to satisfy all of their clients from the initial phone call until the report is complete.
